JA Summer Camps 2024
When: Monday, June 10, 2024 - Friday, June 28, 2024
Eager for a unique way to enrich your student's learning this summer? Through interactive activities, group projects, business simulations, and guest speakers, they will walk away with a better understanding of their future. Junior Achievement Summer Camp students will explore diverse JA programs on career success, personal finance, and entrepreneurship in the heart of Charlotte's Innovation Corridor, Camp North End. Each week is open to students that will be entering 4th-7th grade during the upcoming school year.
Camp Times: 9am – 4pm with extension activities before and after camp for an additional fee.
Camp Price: $325 per student includes t-shirt, daily instruction, all program materials and Friday lunch. Scholarships are available first-come, first-served basis.
JA Central Carolinas offers the following summer camps for students entering 4th-7th grades:

JA Finance Park rising 6th – 7th grade students
Week 2: June 17-21
JA BizTown rising 6th – 7th grade students

Camp CEO rising 4th – 5th grade students

JA Finance Park Summer Camp
Throughout their week at JA Finance Park Summer Camp, campers will explore careers and money management through team building and engaging activities. Discover your career pathway through guided self-exploration with real work experience through a life simulation. Campers will build a foundation to make intelligent lifelong financial decisions, related to income, expenses, savings, and credit.
JA BizTown Summer Camp
Throughout their week at JA BizTown Summer Camp, campers will jump start their entrepreneurial spirit through daily lessons, hands-on activities, and team building games. Explore key economic concepts and job readiness skills preparing for the real world. Campers will discover unique personality traits, explore employment soft skills and build a resume to interview for jobs in JA BizTown.
Throughout their week at Camp CEO Summer Camp, campers will create a business plan which will be presented to senior management professionals at the conclusion of the week. Over the course of the week, students utilize brainstorming, collaborating with peers, access mini-seminars and workshops, and learn from business leaders and trained volunteer mentors. Develop the technical and soft skills needed to not only become successful entrepreneurs, but also to meet the demands of a rapidly changing economy in a variety of professions and careers.
