Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas (JACC) seeks a proven and visionary executive level leader who demonstrates a strong ability to pursue, nurture and maintain strong relationships. The successful candidate will lead JACC into its next stage of growth and impact, ensuring an equitable approach to next generation pathways for all students in the JACC Region.
The individual best suited to lead JACC will excel at creating a vision for the future, developing people, passionately advocating for the mission, and relentlessly pursuing operational excellence as measured by the positive impact on our community and on student’s lives.

The President and CEO must lead with authenticity, transparency, and inclusion. The successful candidate will build relationships and rapport in the community with people of diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds. He or she must balance hearing from those with differing viewpoints/perspectives and being a strong storyteller with the ability to motivate, inspire, and influence. Integrity, critical inquiry, and sound judgment are essential to the success in this role.
Chartered locally in 1958, JACC is headquartered in Charlotte, NC and serves 52 counties across North Carolina and the northern part of South Carolina. JA’s state-aligned curriculum provides relevant, hands-on experiences that give students K-12 knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. Uniquely positioned alongside investors, education partners and volunteers, JACC aims to narrow the gap between student skill set and the requirements to effectively navigate the global economy.
