JA Mind Matters: Q&A with Abigail Hasty
Image caption: JA Mind Matters is a local project created by Abigail Hasty, Capstone Associate, at JA Central Carolinas.
Abigail Hasty, Capstone Associate - JA Finance Park, discusses her passion for public health and the inspiration behind a local initiative she developed: JA Mind Matters. This project allows students to reflect on the impact of mental health and promote positivity among their peers. Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA Mind Matters takes this to the next level by helping students understand mental health. They can feel comfortable talking about it and learn how to work through problems that arise when they are an adult.
