Special Events & Administrative
Where: VariesSpecial Events Volunteers are needed on our event committees, helping with the fundraising and event logistics, and are also needed day-of the events to assist JA. Administrative Volunteers are needed to assist JA staff with various projects in our Charlotte office or virtually.

Where: In the Community or at our JA FacilityYou go to students in our community! You'll give them insight into your job and provide various JA curriculum so they can have an opportunity to see how work gets done. It's a really great way to meet students where they are.

Where: Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas HeadquartersYou'll be in an actual simulated city! You'll help guide students through their assigned family scenario where they will visit many different businesses. They must purchase items to meet the needs of their family, such as insurance, clothing, transportation, housing, groceries, and childcarewithout spending more than they earn.

Where: In a school classroom in our communityAs a JA Volunteer, you'll be paired with a teacher in a classroom. This delivery method is an effective and popular way to show students a connection between the skills they are learning in the classroom and how they can get a more fulfilling career and life.

Elementary
Young kids are the best. If you have a child in elementary school and want to share your experiences while presenting multimedia financial education and enjoy working with younger kids, contact JA of Central Carolinas to learn more about volunteering with JA!
Middle School
Middle School students are the best. Volunteering with kids can be so much fun but it helps when those students are more engaged and curious about the future and the kind of jobs that exist. If you enjoy working with kids, contact JA of Central Carolinas to learn more about volunteering with JA.
High School
