Malcomb Coley of EY Named As the 2022 Laureate Honoree
Charlotte, NC [March 10, 2022] - Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas’ (JACC) is thrilled to announce Malcomb Coley as the 2022 North Carolina Business Hall of Fame inductee.
Coley, who serves as US-Central private leader and Charlotte managing partner at professional services firm EY, plays an influential role in bringing together partners and stakeholders to improve the Charlotte region and beyond. His authentic leadership and innovative solutions enable a regional workforce of over 2,000 professionals to realize EY’s ambition of building a better working world. A champion of diversity, Coley spent much of his career working to identify gaps and reduce barriers to increase inclusivity and opportunity for all.

A recognized servant leader, Coley has dedicated thousands of hours in service to his community. He has served on the Board of Directors of several organizations including the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance (Chair 2022), United Way of Central Carolinas (Chair 2019), Charlotte Sports Foundation, Charlotte City Center Partners, Foundation For the Carolinas, and the UNCC Belk College of Business Board of Advisors. He also sits on the board of trustees for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Queens University in Charlotte. In 2021, Malcomb was appointed to the NC Rail Road Board of Directors by Governor Roy Cooper.
This recognition is for prestigious leaders in North Carolina that have dedicated their careers to helping maintain a vibrant community. Coley will be honored at the North Carolina Business Hall of Fame Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte on Tuesday, April 5.
